Who I Build For: Small Businesses in the Rio Grande Valley

If you run a small business here in the Valley, here's the short version: I build the specific fix for whatever's actually bleeding you money, missed calls, slow follow-up, a business still held together by spreadsheets and text messages, and I build it bilingual from day one, not as some line item I tack on later.

You already know something most software companies never bother to learn. You're not just running a business, you're keeping this place running. The plumbers, the clinics, the auto shops, the family restaurants. That's the real economy here, and it doesn't get built by people sitting in an office in Austin or San Francisco deciding what McAllen needs.

I grew up here. I've watched people I know pour everything into a business and then lose hours every week to stuff that has nothing to do with why they started it in the first place.

What's Actually Costing You Money

Here's what that looks like in practice:

  • A missed call at 6pm because everyone was busy with a job.
  • A lead that came in through the website and sat in an inbox for four days because nobody had time to follow up.
  • A customer who called twice and never heard back, so they called your competitor instead.

None of that is a people problem. It's a systems problem, and it's quietly costing you money every single week, whether you're tracking it or not.

What I Actually Build

I use my software engineering background, nine years of writing production code and a Computer Engineering degree from UTRGV, to fix exactly that. Not with some bloated enterprise platform built for a company ten times your size. I build the specific thing that plugs the specific hole you have:

  • If missed calls are bleeding you leads, I build something that catches them.
  • If follow-up never happens because nobody has time, I build something that handles it automatically.
  • If your team is running the business off spreadsheets and text messages, I build the simple system that replaces that without adding fifteen new logins nobody wants to learn.

Because most customer bases in South Texas move between English and Spanish in the same conversation, bilingual handling isn't an add-on I charge extra for. It's standard in anything I build that touches customer-facing communication, since a system that only works in one language isn't actually solving the problem for a Valley business.

Why This Matters More Than It Used To

Security and data handling used to be something only bigger companies worried about. That's changed. Customers and even vendors now expect a real answer when they ask where their information goes and who can see it, and that expectation reaches small businesses now too, not just enterprise buyers. Whatever I build for you, whether it's a simple lead-capture tool or something more involved, gets built with that in mind from the start, not bolted on after the fact because someone asked.

No Handoffs, No Account Managers

I'm not an agency. I'm not going to hand you off to an account manager after the sales call. I'm the person who looks at what you've got, tells you honestly what's actually broken, and builds the fix myself. No padding the timeline. No selling you more than you need because a bigger invoice looks better on someone else's dashboard.

Every project I finish comes with a real handoff: how the system works, how to make small changes yourself, and how to reach me directly if something needs attention after launch. That's not a courtesy, it's the whole point of working with the person who actually built the thing instead of a support queue that rotates staff every few months.

You already know your business better than any outside consultant ever will. My job isn't to tell you how to run it. My job is to take the busywork off your plate so you can spend your time on the parts of the business that actually need you: the customers, the crew, the decisions only you can make, instead of chasing down leads that fell through the cracks.
